The Plum Yew 'Duke Gardens' cultivar is an evergreen shrub that tolerates shady conditions better than most needled evergreens. It prefers part shade conditions in areas with hot summers. Established plants can tolerate some drought but generally prefer moist, well-draining soil. This is a beautiful slow-growing evergreen that is underutilized by a lot of gardeners and designers. It lends year-round interest and excellent texture to any shady garden spot. Now 12-15” in height, reaching 3' x 3’ at maturity.
