This is a plant that you're going to love! Pieris japonica or Andromeda, as it's commonly called, provides outstanding landscape color throughout the season. The 'Flaming Silver' cultivar blooms in late April with an abundance of white flowers borne on drooping stems at branch ends. The blooms pop against the backdrop of deep green leaves that have distinct, creamy white border that gives the plant an unmistakable silver sheen. Even better, once flowering is done, new foliage emerges a fiery red color that puts most flowers to shame with its brilliance. The Flaming Silver Andromeda performs best in at least partial shade. Now 15-18” and reaching 3’ in height and width at maturity.
