The Bloodgood Japanese Maple is a stunning specimen tree best known for its eye-catching burgundy foliage, which turns a brilliant scarlet color in fall. This variety is airier and more upright in its growth habit, well suited for small urban gardens, and excellent for containers. One of the hardiest Japanese Maples available, 'Bloodgood' is good for those new this family of trees.
Plant in full sun to partial shade, in moist, well-drained, acidic soil. The plants we have available now come in three sizes: 21"-24", 30"-36", and 4'-5', and will grow to 15'-20' at maturity.
