The Allium maximowiczii 'Album' (also known as the white flowering onion) is a bulbous perennial plant. This variety typically produces globular clusters of small, star-shaped white flowers atop tall, slender stems. The foliage is usually narrow and grass-like.
Like other members of the Allium genus, it prefers well-drained soil and full sun to partial shade. It is also generally low-maintenance once established. Flowers late spring to to early summer.
