Tamukeyama Japanese Maple is stunning laceleaf variety that grows in a low, rounded form with cascading branches. Remarkable crimson-red to purple leaves appear in the spring and last through the summer before turning to a warm red-orange in fall.
We currently have three sizes of Tamukeyama available: 21"-24", 30"-36", and 4'-5'. This tree will reach upwards of 8' over a twenty-year span but can be occasionally to maintain size and shape. Plant in well-drained acidic soil and in full sun to partial shade where it can be protected from harsh afternoon sun.
