Pennisetum 'Hameln' (Dwarf Fountain Grass)
Compact ornamental grass that delivers multi-season appeal. In spring and summer, fine-textured green blades reach up to 3 feet tall, topped with soft, wheat-like flower spikes. As the season shifts, the foliage turns a warm rust-gold in fall, followed by pale blonde tones that add winter interest.
Versatile and easy to grow, ‘Hameln’ thrives in full sun to part shade. It pairs beautifully with late-season perennials and colorful shrubs in mixed borders, and its plumes are excellent for both fresh and dried floral arrangements.
