Evergreen creeper forming dense 4-6" mounds of soft needle-like foliage. Flowers are pink with a dark pink eye, blooming from late spring to early summer. Full sun – part shade, well-drained soil. Moderately drought tolerant. Attracts butterflies. Edger, front of the border, small-scale groundcover, or let it cascade in rock gardens. Deer resistant. Zone 3.
