Rhododendron x 'PJM Elite Star'
Rhododendron PJM Elite Star is an exceptionally cold hardy, vigorous, and showy evergreen shrub. Compact in size, it will grow into a nice dense, rounded habit and can reach 4-5' tall by round at maturity. In the spring, Rhododendron PJM Elite Star produces huge clusters of deep fuchsia-pink, trumpet-shaped flowers that put on a show from late April to early May. This evergreen does well in moist, acidic, well-drained soil, planted in part sun to part shade. It can be used to as a foundation or border planting or as an accent to any shade garden.
