This is a compact clematis perfect for container planting. Velvet purple, star-shaped flowers with white anthers. Blooms all summer. Prune lightly in late winter or early summer. Plant in full sun with a cover planting of annuals at the base to keep the roots cool or just mulch. Growth: Now 15-18" growing to 4-5' with time.
